Kiwanis is a worldwide service organization of women
and men who share the challenge of community and the world improvement. University Kiwanis
is in Division 24 of the Pacific Northwest District. Other Kiwanis clubs in Division 24
are Achievers (Shoreline), North Central (Seattle), Ballard,
North Seattle Sunrisers, Northgate, Seniors (Seattle-they meet at Hamilton House)
WHO ARE WE?
University Kiwanis Club, chartered in 1927, is the second oldest club in the Seattle area. We are men and women dedicated to community service, part of the international organization of more then 325,000 in over 70 countries.
WE BUILD
Has been our motto during 72 years of community service. Kiwanians are doers. Revenues from University District Street Fair parking are used for a wide range of projects and worthy programs.

UW CIRCLE K
Is a Kiwanis college student organization whose members plan
and participate in projects and activities by volunteering their time,
talents, ideas and skills to enrich the greater University community. We
support Circle K both financially and by donating our time to their
endeavors.

U DISTRICT FOOD BANK We provide ongoing support for the U District Food Bank and
several of our members have served on the Food Bank Board. |
KEY CLUB Key club is a Kiwanis high school organization committed to school leadership, community service projects, scholarship and promoting good citizenship. We sponsor the Ingraham High School Key Club.

PITZER VOICE SHCOLARSHIP Each year we award a $1000 scholarship to a high school senior in the Seattle area to be used for voice studies after graduation. |
YOUNG PEOPLE AND
FAMILIES We provide funds for the Wallingford Boys and Girls Club, University Family YMCA, and Family Works. |
MEETINGS
University Kiwanis meets every
Tuesday from noon to 1:00 pm at
University Tower Hotel 4507 Brooklyn
Ave NE
Seattle, Washington (WA) 98105, for lunch, club business,
fellowship and an informative program. A wide variety of guest speakers from the
worlds of business, government, religion and sports come to share their
experiences and knowledge.
